The Maids were featured in the February 9th - February 15th 2000 edition of the West Bridgford/Lady Bay/Gamston Neighbourhood News. They did a double page spread to help recruit new members for the team. The pictures were great but there were misquotes in abundance in the article! (Us celebrities have to take the rough with the smooth!). Unfortunately, they stated the wrong night for our practices at Rushcliffe - it's Thursday, not Monday - and I don't think we would claim to be "one of the oldest clog morris dancing teams in the county" or to have "helped to raise thousands of pounds over the years for charity", though we do our best!
